About Us
Our frame been developed to address a key challenge in construction: delivering high-performance buildings without unnecessary complexity.
Our Approach
We focus on integration and simplification.
Rather than layering multiple systems, we bring together structure, insulation, and airtightness into a single coordinated approach—reducing materials, interfaces, and risk.
Why It Matters
Many construction challenges arise from:
-
complex build-ups
-
multiple trades and interfaces
-
inconsistent installation
Hyem Frames addresses this by simplifying the building fabric—improving both performance and delivery.
Collaboration
We work alongside architects, developers, and contractors to refine designs and improve buildability, supporting the project rather than redefining it. We want to provide advice and support from the early design stages to ensure seemless and stress-free integration
Architecture and Engineering in House
Our team includes architects and engineers so that we can communicate with you effectively, solve design problems and integrate the design and manufacture process effectively.

Steven Henderson
Site Coordinator
Steven coordinates the manufacture and installation of Hyem Frames systems, ensuring projects move smoothly from design through to site delivery. Working closely with clients, contractors and our production team, he helps maintain quality, programme certainty and efficient installation on every project.
Chris Brown
Architect and Timber Frame Designer
Chris leads the design and technical development of the Hyem Frames system. Combining architectural design expertise with a deep understanding of timber construction, he works closely with clients and architects to develop practical, high-performance timber frame solutions that balance design ambition, buildability, and building performance.
Bill Calder
Structural Engineer
Bill provides structural design and engineering support across the Hyem Frames system. Working closely with the design team, he ensures each frame is structurally efficient, practical to manufacture, and coordinated with the wider project requirements.
