Section Detail
Cross Section through typical construction buildup
The 260mm EcoBox wall system is a high-performance timber frame solution developed for projects where energy efficiency, comfort and long-term building performance are key priorities. The deeper structural zone allows greater levels of insulation to be incorporated within the wall panel, creating a highly efficient building envelope while maintaining a simple and coordinated construction approach.
Built around the engineered EcoBox stud and filled with blown woodfibre insulation, the system significantly reduces thermal bridging and can achieve U-values of approximately 0.14 W/m²K. This level of performance makes the 260mm system particularly well suited to Passivhaus, low-energy homes and projects aiming to exceed current Building Regulations requirements.
By integrating structure, insulation and airtightness within a prefabricated panel, the system delivers improved build quality, reduced site complexity and greater certainty during construction.
